Transforming Healthcare in Rural Somalia with Portable Clinics.

Portable clinics.

In the challenging landscapes of rural Somalia, where public infrastructure is scarce and the environment hampers permanent construction, our initiative tackles the critical need for basic healthcare assistance. Designed to combat the isolation of rural areas, particularly evident during the COVID-19 crisis, our portable clinics serve as lifelines, delivering essential medical analysis and supplies directly to communities in need.

Our strategy is straightforward yet highly impactful – deploying container clinics strategically throughout rural areas, supported by a blend of local and international medical expertise. The maiden prototype, generously contributed to SOS Children Villages Somalia, now functions as a mobile clinic catering specifically to the healthcare needs of women and children in the outskirts of Mogadishu.

This successful endeavor was made possible through a collaborative partnership with SXB Global and the unwavering support of the global Somali community. Together, we've made tangible strides in ensuring that even the most vulnerable populations in remote areas receive the critical healthcare they deserve.
